It's all about nature. Sandy paints with acrylics or mixed media with oil on canvas and loves vibrant colors. Each painting is a journey to an unknown destination and she is always excited to see where it takes her. Nature is her greatest source of inspiration. In the spirit of nature, everything is connected.
Humans in general have a strong sense of belonging to the universe as well as to one another. It makes her happy when her paintings heighten the awareness of the viewers to celebrate the infinite beauty of nature and the importance of taking care of our world. Her paintings radiate peace, serenity and joy through the connection to nature.
Sandy Iseli grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating from the University of New Mexico, USA, she went to Switzerland to work as a dental hygienist. She married a Swiss and raised her family before completing Interior Design School, where her love of beautiful objects and art was awakened.
She is a self-taught artist and painting is her passion. She thanks nature for her inspiration and feels like a great great grandmother who was a Cherokee Indian has passed down her strong connection to nature. She hopes to heighten the awareness of viewers of the endless beauty that nature gives us and the importance of taking care of our planet. Her paintings radiate peace and serenity that the connection to nature gives.
